Absolutely wonderful. Great wait staff. Best barbecue ever. My husband also loved the brisket. Make sure you share an order. I'm a size 16 and my husband is an XXL we had not eaten all day and couldn't finish half our meals:)

A good sized BBQ place. Friendly staff and pretty good BBQ for the and HUGE portions. We got the rib Tuesday special, the 4 meat platter, rib kid meal, and fried chicken sandwich. Everything was very good and we all enjoyed their tangy bbq sauce. Only complaint we have is the sides are pretty small unless you get french fries.

Off the beaten path of KC BBQ, but a worthy stop. Set in an old railroad depot, use your gps until you get to the historic elms hotel, and follow the smell. (You have to, you usually lose cell service in the parking lot). You can enter on either end to eat, get there early on a Friday or Saturday night. If you like fried mushrooms, this is the place. The BBQ is probably 4 star but the mushrooms make it a five. Thinly sliced and breaded perfectly, they are the perfect temperature. Unlike most mushrooms that give you 3rd degree burns, these are perfect. The ranch dip with them balances the flavor. The ribs are hit or miss, but the sandwiches are pretty good. The smoked turkey and brisket are great! This is a must stop, due to location and flavor.

First time to this restaurant. It was amazing. Price was great considering all the food we got. Waitress did exceptionally well. We ordered fried mushrooms and I cant remember what mine was called, but came with two.choices of meat and two sides.
