Lovely atmosphere, classic architecture, plenty of small locations to visit nearby with a lot to just stop and watch in awe. Quite a few events out here normally but due to COVID-19 not much is happening anymore..

Good place to visit on the weekends though it's a small fort by any standard.
Very nice area with golf course, nature reserve, bath, old church, a mantion just to mention a few.
Amazing nature and the actual historical significance of the place is fascinating.
Its fine, it's not very special or unique.
Engsö castle is beautifully situated on the Island Ängsö in lake Mälaren, near Västerås. Enjoy beatiful walks on the property and a fika at the castle café.
