First time eating out since March, very nervous about doing it. Sadly the waiters were not wearing masks and lean over you to place the plates! the wait time between courses was incredibly long, the food was ok, not great like it used to be.

First off thanks for opening and carrying on during these difficult times. A lot of people in the village rave about Vougon its even won a host of local awards over the years. I have ordered three times from them including once very recently, and all three times I have really struggled to see what other people do. There isn't actually anything wrong with the food it's just very very bland. With Indian food you expect to taste spices and garlic and chilli and ginger, but with all the starters mains rices and sides we have ordered it is just so watered down and dull. Either they are using very poor quality cheap ingredients or just simply not using anything like enough of them. Unfortunately the other Indian in Long Buckby seems to suffer the exact same problem. Unless I hear things have changed drastically for the better I can't see myself ordering from either one again.
