Absolutely every little thing, big and small, made our stay at the Almresort Baumschlagerberg truly exceptional. The first thing we noticed upon driving up the hill to the hotel, was the view. At first we couldn't believe that the hotel could have a better view than the one from the road, but we were apparently mistaken: whether sitting by the pool, walking along one of the fields nearby, eating at the restaurant, or enjoying the view from our bedroom, the view on the majestic Totesgebirge is omnipresent. Simply put, you will very hardly find a similar view in the region. Then, there was the restaurant: breakfast, lunch and dinner were a flawless experience during the 4 days we stayed at the hotel. The food is sourced from local producers, and everything is fresh or organic. There's something to cater to every taste. They also have a great selection of wines from Styria, Burgenland and the region. We are quite picky when it comes to food, and we were never disappointed. Another highlight of our stay was the pool and the SPA. I won't detail the facilities since everything is explained on the hotel webpage. But there's enough to satisfy all those who need to unwind after a long hike in the mountains! Last but not least, the hotel is connected to all kind of nearby outdoor activities and places, like Hinterstoder. Oh, and I almost forget to write about the kindness and attention of our hosts, who made sure we had everything we needed and made us feel at home. Once again, we enjoyed every second we spent at the Almresort Baumschlagerberg, and we will return very soon. It might become our new regular holiday destination in the future!

We had family stay for a night (wish we could have spent at least couple of days) in this mountain resort . The cottage is tastefully furnished. The breakfast was good. The restaurant and bar has the locally made wines and jams etc. The resort is child friendly. It has beautiful location, nice scenery and unpolluted air. Star gazing in the night and beautiful sun rise are treat for eyes and mind.

Great location. The personal is awesome and the food is great. You have definitely have to go to the Sauna and/or the pool ans just relax and enjoy the great view

Die wunderbarste Verbindung zwischen Kuhfladen und Luxus-Resort:-). Wir kommen als Familie seit mehr als 20 Jahren und freuen uns, dass zwar vieles neu und wirklich absolut luxuriös gestaltet wurde, aber der Bauernhof-Charme, das warme familiäre Miteinander und das ober leckere regionale Essen sich durch die Zeiten halten! Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf ein Wiedersehen!
Ein wahnsinnig toller Ort zum Runterkommen und Entspannen. Ab dem ersten Moment fühlt man sich wie zuhause. Die Aussicht ist traumhaft und das Essen fabelhaft! Vor allem unsere kleine Tochter konnte sich bestens austoben im Spielzimmer, draußen mit den Kettcars, beim Ziegen füttern und Kühe beobachten. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Herzlichen Dank an die ganze Familie Berger für die schöne Woche!
