My boys needed to find some karate for very different needs. One for anger management and personal development and the other for core muscle strength and physical development. Budo has been amazing for BOTH of them! I love how the coaches get to know each kid and they listen and ask me if there’s things to work on and what they need. They’ve got no problem pulling my son aside and having a chat with him about controlling his temper and helping to make him a better person. The overall focus on developing kids in a positive way through martial arts is what thrills me about their classes. I’ve been beyond grateful to get my boys started here and being happy even during a really hard time for them. Thank you so much Budo!!

I cannot say enough great things about this place. My daughter has been going since August, and I already see the positive changes. I have NEVER seen her more attentive, calm, and focused as she is at Budo. Her coaches Josh & Seth are amazing with the kids. They teach them self discipline, respect, and to always work hard. My daughter is still a work in progress, but I have no doubt with these coaches, she's aiming for the stars! Highly recommend!

A friend recommended Budo Voorhees to me right about the time when the pandemic started. I was expecting them to not respond right away with everything being shut down little by little. On the contrary, coach Josh reached out and signed us up for a complimentary virtual class. My son took to Josh right away, he made it fun but serious at the same time. We were so excited to attend in-person classes. They have everything under control providing a safe and clean environment with social distancing. All the coaches are excellent! They do a great job instilling respect and discipline while helping the kids grow and learn. I ask my son what’s his favorite part about Budo and he says, “I just really love it!”

My son has really come out of his shell since coming here! He started Budo at 3.5 and he has been consistently going every month. The weeks he may miss due to vacations the coaches reach out right away to make sure everything is ok. They do lots of wonderful fundraisers for the Budo Family they do lots of little events for the kids. My son is very respectful and disciplined and I know it's from Coach Josh and Coach Seth, as soon as I say \I'm telling Coach Josh and Coach Seth\ whatever behavior he is going through stops. If you are having an issue with school, focusing or anything you let the coaches know and they address it in class. They are a great reinforcement for at home rules and behavior. I can't imagine is not being a part of Budo!
