We were passing through Vonore yesterday around 2:45pm. A Vonore Police Officer was driving one handed, radaring drivers in the school zone. I was stopped and told I was doing 43 in a 25 mph school zone. No lights were flashing for the school zone. I pointed this out to the officer, who acknowledged there was an issue with the traffic lights. However, I was still issued a ticket. Even though I had no indication that there was a active school zone. Vonore is a speed trap for a poor little town. Avoid doing business with this town.
