We visited both the hotel and the restaurant. The rooms are in very good condition (almost new!), cozy and clean with a great view on the ocean. We got vegan wine and chocolate served in the room, and received a handwritten welcome message. The restaurant food was tasty and good quality (some of the food pictures look a bit messy because I couldnt wait to try them and took a photo after I already ate from them !). All staff was very attentive and friendly. 10/10 would recommend !

We booked an ocean view room for the weekend, when we arrived and were given a room with a view onto the next apartment block so we went back to reception to ask if there had been a mix up. They advised that we only booked the 1/2 ocean view room, which is does say in the small print in the details on the website (after we went back and checked). I definitely wouldn't call sticking your head out and around the window an ocean view, or even half ocean view. It left us feeling like these people were prepared to dupe you, and keep their hands clean because "it's in the small print". The bed was comfortable, but you only get one massive pillow to sleep on, they didn't have any alternatives available so we resorted to covering the decorative pillow in our own T-shirt to sleep on. The room was decorated unimaginatively, and the hotel reception looked messy with bins in the doorway and clutter lying around. Fine for a nights stay if you need to be in Vlissingen but would not recommend for a nice getaway trip.
