Spacious and open, the kids loved following the river and hiding in the bushes. The play area looked excellent but was very busy, the coffee was great but I could be biased as I really needed coffee. We also found Wilton Lands, a nature walk, attached to Vivary park which was a really nice surprise and walk.

Beautiful place with lots going on. Nice gardens just to sit and enjoy. Plenty of space for ball games. Great cafe (the coffee station). great for kids; River. Ducks, playgrounds
Vivary is a wonderful park in the middle of Taunton. Well worth a wander around. Especially good if you have little people to entertain as the parks squirrels are for the most part very friendly and more than happy to accept nuts from your hand. The tea room at the top of the park does the most fantastic looking cakes and great drinks. There is a large play area for smaller children and loads of room for walking and talking and outdoor socialising in these strange times. Highly recommended.
A beautiful park just a stones throw from Taunton Town Centre. There’s a Go Ape style aerial adventure park with camera you golf and small tributary where the birds can be fed and then nice wheelchair friendly pathways around lovely landscapes gardens. The children’s play area next to the cricket club has a full range for all ages and The Coffee Station right next to it. The cafe is a vegetarian cafe and has a good selection of snacks and drinks.
Lovely park to walk through with good playgrounds for children. Nice cafe too.
