Delicious food, friendly staff and a nice new bright make-over. Great gluten free and vegetarian option# (the only place we've been to where the gluten-free pizza is bigger than the ordinary!) and the cocktail menu is also great. We go here every time we are up in Edinburgh.
Staff was lovely and the restaurant is really nice and modern, the food itself was average. The main reason I am giving 2 stars is that their steamed mussels dish was filled with broken shells, I always expect a few but all the shells were broken which meant they were hidden in the sauce and stuck in the mussels themselves making the dish uneatable and frankly painful to eat, I wish I said something when I was there.
Dropping my daughter back to university in Edinburgh and wanted somewhere close, we had been to another of their restaurants and the food and service was excellent so thought we would give it a try. They were very accommodating and gave us a table straight away, the food and service didn't disappoint both were excellent and we will visit again. Not only was the food and service excellent we were pleasantly surprised by the bill that wasn't over the top. Keep up the good work and thank you for a great evening.
Lovely dining experience. Very friendly and attentive staff, fast service, nice atmosphere and delicious food. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.
