Vision Express Opticians at Tesco - Solihull

Very disappointing last visit - Staff were unhelpful with resolving a defective (In my opinion) pair of glasses. Offered to reorder & replace glasses and offered a full discount of the defective (Tinted lens) component. Unfortunately, when I check the amount paid on returning home the discount was less that 50% of the amount paid. Have still not received new glasses - Will not be recommending Vision Express to anyone who i Know.

Really pleased with this store and wouldn’t hesitate going back or recommending. Booking online was easy, communication was great start to finish with text reminders of appointments and when glasses were ready for collection. I got there 40 mins early (my error) but they saw me straight away and answered all my queries. Ridiculously helpful and pleasant front of house and Optometrist. Great advice on glasses choice and fab follow up service. Will happily return.

So I purchased glasses from here well over 2 years ago and it was great. I went back end of 2019, November/December time and got a new pair of glasses. I would not be going back there again. The lady that dealt with me and helping with my purchase was so overwhelming with all these add ons that I eeded\. I was getting my glasses free as my mum had a voucher for 30 off any frame etc, and the frames I had were 30, my eyesight isn't bad I have them mainly for headaches so no adjustments needed to be made plus I wouldn't be wearing them all the time, only when my eyes feel funny, anyway I felt due to getting the glasses free the woman had to pressure me into getting the anti glare or something so I had to pay 39. I told her I didn't have them on my previous glasses and didn't feel like I needed them then she goes on to say because I'm driving more now and looking on a screen more then I will have to have it. I drove the same amount as I did previously, she was just chatting out of her backside to maybe get commission or something I don't know. Due to me being on my own and anxiety through the roof I agreed to it, I felt overwhelmed and pressured into doing so. Few months later I've not worn them much and when I did the \extra\ I had done to them didnt seem any different to my previous ones I had two years ago.. I've just plucked up the courage to leave a review now but didn't dare go back to confront her. I'm so mad at how she made me feel.

I feel I have had to write a review as I honestly do not know what the bad reviews are talking about and actually felt a bit apprehensive about going here after reading them!! Had a great experience here and felt well looked after. Saima and Kerrie were both extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back!

Given a second chance, they failed again. Complete time wasters. Claimed to have no record of previous sight test, meaning I couldn't have it when booked. Really: don't waste your own time booking here. 0 stars.
