Seen quickly, COVID compliant, NHS discount for an eye test and I didnt feel pressured into buying glasses (which I was actually recommended I didnt really need).

Avoid at all costs. I’ve had problem after problem with this Vision Express. Closed 2 hours early one day when I went to collect my sons glasses no warning just said they were not busy enough. A few weeks ago my son had an eye test before his glasses were sent off for repair, the optician wasn’t child friendly or welcoming at all. After his eye test they did some checks on his glasses before sending them off told me before making payment these checks had to be made by an optician and then they could be sent off. I waited over and hour having already being there 45 mins for the eye test. No optician made the checks they told me they had to do and they then just took the payment so made me wait over an hour for nothing. Today I had an appointment for my son to try contacts and pick up his repaired glasses. We picked up the glasses they did all the necessary checks before telling me they had “messed up” and double booked the appointment and they couldn’t do the contacts today and I would have to rebook. So a complete wasted journey as he already had his spare glasses same prescription (which they knew) as the ones being repaired so there was no rush for them. A call just to say they had messed up would have been fine but no just let me drive there and tell me there.
