Overall shopping is good at this branch. Although I called in 9/2/2021 at about 10.30am before me were a couple in there early 60s only to be told at the door that only one of them could shop in store as Tesco have brought in the one person shopper rule. They mentioned that this was not the case at Asda to which the gentleman on the door replied they were not Asda and they were following government guide lines. The couple decided to shop elsewhere. I entered the store and I knew that i walked round the store I would see other couples and shopping together and I did. At one point I heard over the store speakers that carers could accompany someone or a parent with a child could shop which is understandable. But that's not what I saw i saw a couple with a child. A young pregnant woman with another young girl (I never knew pregnant women needed carers) and saw quite a few couples waking round and non of them looked like carers either. If Tesco are going to bring in these rules they should be consistent and not pick and choose.

Very well run for social distance. Staff very helpful
The staff were very friendly and efficient. I needed a follow up appointment and as the next customer didn't arrive I was offered to stay and get my follow up done. It saved me another visit. It was very good of them to offer me this choice.
