Opticians are great, got my prescription easy and they were friendly enough.... Absolutely horrendous service on the dispensing side though.... Wouldn't take my NHS voucher, then said they would but tried charging me extras to make up the price.... Eventually got some glasses which took 4 weeks, not the 9 days they claim.... They arrived damaged, sent back and waited another 4 weeks.... I recommend you get your eyes tested here, but go elsewhere for your glasses....
Awful - truly awful - frame joint broke after only 4 months intermittent use, on visiting the store was told that as there was a tiny scratch it couldn't be a manufacturing fault. Really! I'm sure that the staff member is a qualified engineer like me but hey ho. Offered a 50% discount on another pair but TBH I have no faith in the integrity of the their cheap, nasty products. 150 for a pair of glasses that won't see you past Xmas Avoid Avoid. On the plus side the lady that performed the original sight test was a delight. Ironically - I should have gone to Specsavers Vision Express have lost a customer for life, I will never use them again.
