Vision Express Opticians at Tesco - Abingdon

Staff took the time (lots of time) over a number of sessions to get my daughter to a point that she could take home contact lenses for a trial. I was particularly impressed by the calm and professional manner of both opticians.

Terrible service i booked an eye test as my current glasses are scratched, went through a full eye test and was told i needed a new prescription he asked me how i felt with the new prescription before i ordered new glasses i told him i couldn't see very well with the new one and he told me it was due to the coating i had on my original ones and it would be okay with the new ones i didnt argue as i assumed he knew what he was doing and chose some nice new frames a week later went to pick them up and and i couldnt see out of the new glasses as i informed the optician at the time of the test they said there was nothing they could do i would have to rebook and go through an entire eyetest again needless to say im not going through that again so i asked for a full refund which they did but wouldn't let me have my original prescription so i still have to go elsewhere for another test my. My advice go somewhere else vision express very unhelpful and the optician working there is incompetent!!!!!

Friendly but inefficient. Helpful optician who dealt thoughtfully with my son who has autism. BUT we were then: Given the wrong pricing information when choosing frames. Waited so long while they processed the order we didn't have time to choose other less expensive frames so had to just go ahead. They never called to tell us the frames were ready. Poor service, wouldn't use again.
