Always feel welcome whenever I visit. The lounge may be shut. The service, however, is still as good and friendly as it has always been.

Friendly, helpful staff who go that extra mile. Good range of savings accounts and now a current account. Great to have a coffee when doing my banking, even better when I can service my Clydesdale Bank account there too.
When you think of a bank does it conjure up Mental images of people in stacked lines tellers shouting next over and over again and a pretty sterile environment that most people want to get in and out of as quickly as possible. Not this place. This place woo's you with it's lounge, free coffee and friendly chirpy staff. I came here to just set up a bare bones bank account but I can safely say it's got quite a lot of panache for a basic bank that I'll sometimes find myself here in my lunch break guzzling a variety of different coffee's like some kind of upper class caffeine addict. 10/10 would drink all the coffee here.

2/3 of the floor space here is given over to a free customer café which can also be accessed for free by non-customers 6 times (ask for a stamp card). It is an amazing space being housed in the Old Library.
