I *love* the Violin Shoppe! We go here for my 2nd graders violin and the team is always so helpful in providing her what she needs! I don’t know a lot about the instrument and rely heavily on their insight. Mikel always especially goes above and beyond to assist us, help tune our violin, and my sure my daughter is set up with what she needs. Their rent-to-own program is very helpful, especially when you have a burgeoning violist who still has a lot of growing to do. It’s awesome we can just size up and then trade in once it’s paid off. I recommend this place to everyone!

We stumbled upon this violin shop while exploring Tampa, since we were only here on vacation. Wow! It was impressive. Definitely a boutique cello/violin shop, but with everything from budget friendly beginner instruments to high end custom pieces. We were greeted with the most hospitable and knowledgeable staff. Mikel was awesome in helping us pick out a cello and bow and Ethan even educated us on how their custom cellos were made. They answered every single one of our questions so thoroughly and did not make us feel inferior at all! I cannot say enough good things about their customer service!! A for sure! We are so glad we stopped in!!

Highly recommend!!! I cannot say enough great things about this place. The staff is hands down the best. Supremely helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are great too! If you can't afford to purchase they have a rent to own program. Go here before anywhere else.. you won't regret it!

Me and my 8 year old son just stopped in the shop and were greeted warmly despite them being very busy. They took the time to put multiple instruments in my son's hands and show him how to play them. He was ecstatic. Nobody else in town took the time to make him feel comfortable and confident that he could actually play. We ended up renting the same day and were shown everything we needed to tune, maintain and play the violin. They even printed off a list of teachers in the area for lessons! Absolutely wonderful shop. Very happy we took the time to visit!

Michael and Derek were extremely helpful in replacing my daughter's violin strings. Michael talked about the difference in strings and allowed her to play a few pieces before tuning the instrument again once he strung the violin with new strings. Friendly and very helpful. Great talking to folks who know the instruments and don't try to over-sell. Highly recommend!
