Vinny's N.Y. Pizza & Grill - Sandy Springs

Would love to give 5 stars, but sadly cannot! Overall really good Italian food, but the place lacks any kind of ambience whatsoever! Sterile overhead lighting, no dinner music, no heaters on the outdoor patio, (even though Covid is a thing), & limited staff! I dare say it almost feels like a cafeteria/ bar. Cocktail menu and/ or the ability to make a decent cocktail is also limited. That said, pricing is relatively fair and they seem to do a decent take-out business, largely relying on the single residents and families from the attached apartment complex. I truly hope they make a few needed improvements and better market themselves, to help drive business and keep their doors open!

Great place! Fresh, hot, and delicious food plus truly astounding service. I'd literally look up and my server was right there to help. Every time. Amazing. Their menu is a good value with prices below what I expected and, while NY pizza only exists in NY, it comes pretty close :) The complimentary garlic knots are a very nice touch - especially on a lunch visit.

N.Y. Neighbor Sub (suggested by the nice regular at the bar) was really good. Staff was really friendly. I strongly suggest you stop in for a lunch and see for yourself!

Slices were good, salad was just iceberg lettuce, garlic rolls were too buttery, bar area was too small but nice. Staff was friendly and service was good. Great quick pizza. Ambiance was a bit better than the nearby Blue Moon Pizza.
