Very good chips. Nice and crispy but not overly crunchy. Perfect. Gravy was really good too. Would use again if I ever come back to the area.

Absolutely fabulous fish and chip shop in the centre of Bowness on Windermere. Gluten free options were brilliant! Separate food prep and cooking facilities and even gf vinegar!!! Will definitely be visiting again
As always when we visit Cumbria we take a detour to Boeness for the delicious Vinegar Jones experience!! Due to the current situation our last few visits have been takeaway service which we have enjoyed at the Nature reserve or at a viewing point over Windermere. The food is always good quality, although the prices have increased especially for the plastic cutlery, carrier bag that wasn't required. An informed choice would of been nice thats all. Overall quick service and friendly staff
Absolutely fantastic gluten free fish and chips. All fried fresh and to order. Big portions, probably could share between two if you’re not starving! Big queue outside and currently no eat in so be prepared to wait and then take out (well worth it!). No issue for us, we walked down to the lake front and ate on a bench as the sun set
Great fish and chips! Me and my partner both enjoyed our food, the portions are good and very filling! Fish was fresh and chips delicious. Service was friendly too! I have a few chip shops in my family - so I know my chippy food! Would definitely recommend
