I love this place. I’ve been eating in and having takeaways for years. Mohammed and his staff are always friendly. Ali and Lal are always happy. The restaurant is really old style with no frills, which is party of the charm. The food is just what you want. Never had an issue. And it’s only a few steps from the White Horse, so you can have a beer while you wait. Village or Raj? Village wins for me.

I've been coming here on a almost weekly basis for 4 years, food is very good and always no problems. Friendly owner and staff, they are extremely attentive and nice to chat to. Also you can bring your own alcohol which is great.
