The food tasted ok but didnt get what I ordered as a take-out so a bit disapointing. Order taken when I entered Ordered a... X1bacon batch X1 bacon and egg batch with brown sauce X1 sausage, tomato and mushroom batch Received x1 bacon batch X1 sausauge and egg and mushroom batch X1 bacon and tomato No brown sauce!! It filled the whole in our stomarched but not great all things considered hence just the three stars.

Lovely little place to go for breakfast or lunch! We go mostly for their breakfasts and they are lovely, generous portions and the staff are extremely friendly. Highly recommend.
This was my first time here, what a lovely place. Staff are amazing as is the food. Definitely will be going back. Definitely recommend the Village Pantry.
Only local cafe to us so we've used them a lot, unfortunately over time the quality and service has gotten worse and worse. Whether it's being told to collect our food in 20 min, then arriving exactly when agreed to find that the food is only just being prepared, or items missing from the order, despite double checking they have the order written down correctly. Mid to poor quality ingredients (in all fairness, expected for this type of place) and you will often find eggs are overcooked. Overall, the takeaway service is appalling. Witnessed several times that the owner doesn't treat staff well either. The bloke who ran it before would have never allowed this to happen.
