Had two excellent evening meals here. Very friendly and good value for money. We didn't book and got a table straight away.

We've eaten here on a number of occasions and have always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and well cooked homemade food. It was the last meal we ate cooked by someone else before lock down. We are on our way back after lock down and the Village Inn will be our first port of call and we can't wait.
Had a lovely cajun chicken burger and chips. The corned beef hash came in what seemed like a bucket sized bowl. Lovely food at good prices with large portions. Sadly we missed out on trying the desserts on offer due to being full up.
Lovely little pub. Freshly cooked food and kind staff. Recommend!
Dont order starters, you'll never manage to eat the main meal. Very generous servings Book before going at this present time.
