Sadly one of the worst restaurant visits for the last couple of years. Our waiter was completely without any motivation, rude and tricked us into having more costs then necessary. Don't know if he did that because we were tourists but you simply don't treat people this way. Pretty sure there are restaurants near by which appreciate their costumers. In this one, we were not.

Excellent cheese pizza with honey, and ambiance.
Excellent location and food. My gnocchis in a creamy pesto sauce was superb. My husband food was also good. But service could be more welcoming. We would have given 5 stars but our waiter was stuck up and rude. My husband nicely asked if he speaks English and he answered not at all in French. And from that on he was dismissive and cold. I speak French so no problem for us to order. I just wasn’t familiar with certain regional names for things. The other waiter and waitress seem to be nicer, unfortunately we didn’t have them. I feel if one cannot be nice then one shouldn’t work in a service industry.
Really nice restaurant with the gladiator arena right across the street. Great menu that also suits little ones. Nice range of wines and super-friendly staff. Good prices. Seemed to be very pop6but we could still just drop in without a booking.
Great food at reasonable prices. Good service by our Italian waitress Maria, Ciao Maria ! Situated perfectly by the Roman Amphitheatre. Enjoy. M
