Interesting place for roadside geology. I found a lot of cambrian trilobites here! These are the fossiles of some kind of extinct marine artiopodan arthropod. And what a phantastic viewpoint!

Amazing view from the top. In summertime you can walk all the 1078 steps to the top. Cafe, toilets in Vingen.
I've climbed this ski-jump hill. It was hard... not in the best shape... But when a 70 year old man jogged past me halfway uphill I thought I would never reach the top. This is a super place go and there's an awesome view from the top. Recommended :)
Have been here a couple of times. Walked down the steps in warm weather and was just there for Raw Air. Ski Flying is AMAZING! Well organized event for 15K people.
I was here for Raw Air 2018 and it was an amazing experience. The crew is great and the hill area is well kept.
Visited twice, you can take some great photography at the top of the slope within the public viewing area. I got a feel just how brave these ski jumpers are. Nice location, museum and surrounding area is nice. Check it out. #Oslo
