I went here two separate occasions. They do amazing food, really tasty. The first time I went, it wasn't busy and I waited about 40 minutes for the bill after asking twice which wasn't a good experience however this didn't occur the second time when it was very busy. The menu also needs redoing, starts end on the same page as mains and if you're not paying full attention, can accidentally order a starter as a main. Lastly, the portions sized are either a bit too small for the (the rice dish) or a bit too big (the broath) all in all though, really good place and great apathetic.

Fantastic authentic Vietnamese food. Ingredients always seem to be fresh and high quality , and you can tell the chefs really care about what they're serving. I can't speak highly enough of Viet Quan.
Walked past on Saturday morning seeing the sign saying they were open for delivery and collections 4pm to 9pm. I like Vietnamese food and the menu looked good. Went out of my way to return at about 4.45pm but they were closed. Really annoys me when a restaurant can't be bothered to update their signage resulting in customers having a wasted journey and having to find somewhere else. Their website is no better, still saying \DINE IN - DELIVERY - COLLECTION - 12pm to 10pm Monday to Saturday\ I would phone this place before making a journey. Pity - judging by the menu and other reviews, the food looks good even if the attitude isn't.
Was on the way to the IOW ferry and saw this place as I passed. I like Vietnamese food more than Chinese so thought I’d give it a try as I had a 90 min wait for the crossing. Wow. Fresh, flavoursome food. I had the cubed beef with sticky rice, which I asked them to spice up. They added fresh red chilli which elevated everything nicely. Veggie spring rolls were excellent. Portsmouth has an absolute gem here! Wish we had one on the Island...
Incredible restaurant with lovely staff and amazing food! The bubble tea was great and spring rolls especially were really delicious :) Atmosphere was great and having hand sanitiser on every table was a great gesture.Definitely recommend！
