From the staff at the Integrative Center, to the constant show of professionalism, open exchange of knowledgeable information (pertaining to Hyperbaric Medicine with the experienced Hyperbaric technician). This has actually not been my first experience with a Hyperbaric facility, but what differed with my analysis upon the evaluation with Dr. G was the encouragement that I’d get to my goals that I intend to reach but I have to support with the inner-intent to want to heal. Everyone is kind and very safety-oriented. I’m 21 or 22 Hyperbaric sessions in currently since my injury I’m already seeing changes in my metabolism, gait balance so this is something that truly can help with a variety of ailments. Every time I come out of a session, I feel less oral secretions on one side of the mouth, even more alert, refreshed and feeling very loose (which I believe/feel is healing the spasticity-part of my injury which is one of the “hurdles” faced when dealing with injuries that are Neuro/nerve-related).

If you’re considering the holistic approach to medical care, I recommend Virginia Integrative Health because of its staff, customer service and its facility. I was very impressed with Dr Shannon Ginnan whose knowledge and compassion were evident upon the first visit . Additionally, the staff presented themselves professionally, well trained and mannerly. Nathan greets patients cordially and by name. As the hyperbaric technician, Jay is the best at providing a stress free, comfortable hyperbaric experience. The office is well maintained, neat and clean. My treatment has left me feeling stronger with visible improvements. If you’re seeking hyperbaric treatment or considering an alternative to traditional health care practices, you should give VIHH a call.

The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. There is a resident physician (something some hyperbaric facilities don't have). Everyone is friendly and very safety-conscious. Hyperbaric sessions can help with a variety of ailments. Every time I come out of a session, I feel more alert and energetic.

I would like to thank the practitioners and staff at Virginia Integrative Health & Hyperbaric for their expertise and compassion in aiding me to a better quality of life. In the past I always did whatever any other practises told me in order to get better, and it seemed that I was getting the same answers with the same conclusion. Now that has all changed, I've lost over 60lbs, no longer pre-diabetic, completely off any blood pressure medication, and with the hyperbaric oxygen treatments I am able to chew and enjoy my favorite foods.
