My case Ref 895288399/659404937 I had my valuation after 7/8 weeks, now waiting for my offer, my broker tried calling Vida today they advised my broker that it might take anything between 20/30 working days I will lose those 2 properties I was buying, because vendor would not give me anymore time, so it means I will lose valuation fees Solicitors Fees Application and non Refundable Deposit with Estate Agent. so I don't know what to do please someone advise me. I will be very disappointed if I lose those properties because of Vida taking far long to deal with application.

My experience with Vida so far has been excellent. I was dealing with another lender who sent us round the houses with various things needed and eventually turned down the application after 8 weeks. At the point of applying to Vida - my dream home was back on the market as the vendor was tired of waiting for me to get a mortgage offer and had lost out on their own purchase as a result. They have also put their retirement to the coast on hold whilst waiting for me to sort things out. Anyway, my broker finally applied to Vida Homeloans. I had a 3 day turnaround from application to valuation being instructed after I appealed to their CEO to help me save my dream home. This was an amazing intervention and I thank you! Valuation has been booked for 17.11.20 but vendors would not take property off the market till my mortgage offer is confirmed (who would blame them, it's been such a long process). So fingers crossed, all will work out. Will keep you posted.. Phyllis
Poor deal. Do not use this company. I had a mortgage with them and now my new mortgage is almost 500 less per calendar month. In addition, you have to pay a large penalty (several thousand pounds) to be release early from your fixed term (they like to tie you in for about 5 yrs). Don't use them, there are many other companies offering much less extortionate deals.
Currently waiting on my offer. The service I have received thus far has been absolutely fine. It has taken longer than expected, however, we are in the midst of a global pandemic. Most customers who have left reviews on this platform, in the main, have received an undesirable outcome and perhaps fail to understand/respect due process.
