Very efficient and good Covid measures in place. However I understand them charging out of hours prices for the actual consultation but 19 for a plastic cone and 40 for a bandage I thought was steep. Nothing you can do though if your pet is ill out of hours.

The Nottingham staff were rude, unhelpful and had zero empathy to say that they work with sick animals. (the staff team also appeared to be an average age of 12 years old) please don't take a loved family pet here, I've been in nothing but distress since.

I really wasn’t keen on my experience here. I appreciate it was the day after Boxing Day and it was very busy but something just didn’t sit right. I will refuse to come here for emergency care again but each to their own :)

If i could give zero stars i would, they are extremely unprofessional and they don't have any love and empathy for the animals you bring in to save their life. The team working on the 09/12/2020 killed my cat without any permission and without discussing the matter with me as per code of conduct 8.11. I would never reccommend this practise to anyone.

Rip off! Went private which proved to be way cheaper and more care given. I was a paying customer so they saw fit to charge almost 400 for a tiny injury on my cats food. Claimed it needed 6 injections, sedation costs due to being agitated, costs to wake up, costs for antibiotics. It was all inflated, non existing issues for a small wound that could've be treated at home. Only took her in as we thought there was a stick in her foot...no stick found so only small wound. I was not told of any procedures or treatments until AFTER they'd done it all....typical! Two weeks later (cust on benefits), cat with same injury and this vet only offered antibiotics and said that would be enough! Fraudulent! Rip off! Cheated paying customers with unnecessary treatment! My cat did not come out groggy or with any sign of sedation - I doubt they even did it! No point in complaining...I have no faith in their system or complaints procedure. The vet was a male, with an accent, rude, obnoxious.. Deliberately made us wait longer due to me challenging him. My advice to anyone is to check costs and possible treatment PRIOR , then make the decision. After a second injury, took my cat the Out-of-hours emergency surgery at the Priory Vet, Nottingham....charged 160 for an injury 4 times the size, kinder treatment, nice staff, vet was lovely.
