Perfect, my ideal camping site. Friendly, well run, quiet enough to relax, small (weedy) fishing lake on site. Free WIFI. Good clean amenities and small shop for the essentials. Well located near to village with dog friendly excellent pubs. 2 of the best beaches a short drive away. What is not to like?

We (myself, wife and 4 kids) camped for a week in late August. The weather was amazing which made for a great week. We had a lovely welcome from one of the staff members, Sandie, which was lovely. It is a very spacious site. The lake was great - my wife and daughter caught their first fish! There were a lot of dogs on the site which was cool at first but then one morning I woke to find a small dog rummaging around in our porch, he had obviously got out of his tent without the owner knowing. Also there was some dog mess around the lake where the owners had not picked it up. I am not impressed with this but would still go back.
Great campsite. Good people and facilities. Slight tilt to the pitch but not enough to be a problem. Really close to truro and St. Austell. Would be happy to return.
Lovely place and the friendly staff
For such a large site it could do with larger or more washing and toilet facilities. Apart from that this place is well worth a visit. Large, spacious, grassed and wooded site with good dog walking field. Clean and friendly with helpful and cheerful staff.
