We waited in line for a while, but hey this is Versailles and it is summer. We were lucky 5 of us ordered different food, there are all geat. Best of all, our waitress is superior. Great service. I knew she was busy, but she can reset the tone and made us have a great time enjoying the good food in Palace. We ended this with dessert for everyone. Very good too. It's a little pricey, but it worth it.

Tourist trap, tourist trap, tourist trap. But how we want to be trapped in this tea time experience just like the French royalties did I'm this magnificent chateau? So yes, there is an Angelina Paris after you are done with the walking tour within the main Palace of Versailles. Yes, it's very tacky to want to eat here and feel the opulence. Although we all know this commercial agreement between the palace and Angelina, since you will probably only visit Versailles this once in your life, sure, why not. Indulge yourself because this is truly an indulgence and no other words can explain why you are here. Right at the door, you are greeted by formally dressed staff, asking if you want to dine in their cafe, which is just a stand selling sandwiches and desserts and you need to go find your own table and clean up after yourselves, or you can choose to dine in the dining room, where they have table service by their wait staff. We opted to go all out and chose the latter. We immediately found out that the pricing in the dining room is quite a bit higher than the cafe, simply because we now have a semi-rude waiter tossing plates at us. Regardless, we still made the best out of this experience and enjoyed our meal with desserts that were way too sweet, and a small sandwiche that cost too much. But hey, once in a lifetime, right? YOLO

Cake/pastry, tea, and salmon dishes were all very good here. Service was slightly slow, but the atmosphere (set in the living room of a lady in waiting to one of the queens) was very nice.

Service was slow but good. Staff was engaging and very polite. Food was served at a good temperature and pastries were presented well. Space is a little tight. They have pictures in the menu for the pastries so you know exactly what you are getting. Restrooms are unisex.

Service is very good, English speaking staff. Great presentation. Can improve meat quality. It is on the pricy side.

We stopped by for a snack after passing it while heading down the Napoleon gallery down the stairs. There were two lines, one for the sit down restaurant and another for a more informal cafe. We decided to go with the cafe since we were a bit pressed for time, the line for the cafe was moving faster than the restaurant. The interior was amazing. Beautiful displays of the pastries as well as a really nice atmosphere. The cafe has some tables on the side and (didn't find out about it after going to the toilet) another room near the back. It was a free for all where you had to hunt for your own table. You order at the counter. We grabbed a few pastries and drinks. The food was really nice. We had the mont blanc since it was their specialty, as well as the galette amande. We also tried their mille feuille. Everything was delicious, particularly the buttery pastries. The mont blanc was on the sweet side but that's why I liked it. I also tried their special hot chocolate but I found it was a bit bitter and had a burnt taste. It was really rich though. Annoyingly, you are not allowed to bring any food out of the cafe since you aren't allowed food in the palace. Our initial intention was to eat out in the garden but that was foiled and we were lucky enough to find a table. It was a nice place for some really tasty food but it is a bit expensive but that is expected at a tourist destination. The cafe was nice but I would guess that the experience in the restaurant would be at another level.

We managed to get in relatively quickly as the queue was short when we visited. The vibe here is nice with its setting in the Versailles (and you’d really want to have some food and sit down after the visit). Staff are nice and speak English. I agree with the other reviewers that the food is overpriced - however, I have to say that this is actually better than the other branch that we’ve been to. Overall the cafe is less busy and the staff are more attentive.

Stunningly pleasant restaurant. You can dine in or choose to have a quick grab. You need to wait for short period of time to be entered either way. Food was frankly good. In dining room atmosphere is not good. seems like a room which is still under construction. No fancy wall deco or palace dining experience what so ever. Nevertheless foods tastes great and I recommend croissants. It is good!
