I was utterly disgusted today by the rude and offensive attitude by a member of staff in this store. I am unable to wear a facemask due to having a sever condition which effects my breathing, I also suffer with debilitating arthritis for which I wear splints on my hands. I was quite correctly asked about lack of face mask, unfortunately even though I was wearing a sunflower lanyard and explained I was exempt the staff member choose to humiliate me. I was questioned, called a liar, asked to provide an exemption certificate. I will never set foot in this store ever again, there is no excuse to be rude to customers, the law is quite clear and proof of exemption does not have to be provided. I am disabled and would have appreciated a little help in looking for a lunchtime snack. I took my custom to another little deli called Moolah. they were fantastic & friendly and I was able to purchase a Coopers sausage roll and a very good jar of local honey from Hedgerow Honey.

Great selection. And open nice and early. I like this town.
Lovely selection of fresh bread and rolls. Lovely cakes and pork pies. Cold meat is cooked beautifully and always fresh. Good selection of cheese. Lovely selection of hors d'oeuvres. My favourite is the porkpie with Shropshire blue or Stilton topping. They do filled rolls as well but you need to get there early!
Lovely deli and bakery. Beautiful selection of handmade pork pie and cakes which are tasty. Good covid precautions too. Friendly staff
