Beautiful, cozy and clean cottages holding a very high standard. Immediate proximity to short mountain hikes (my 3-year old handled the hike to Hundbergtind), which still rewards you with an incredible view. If you're the more adventurous kind, Stortind and Vengsøytraversen will deliver if you'd like to up the exitement level (by a lot). Hike (or ski) straight down, have a dip in the clear blue water just off the peer, and then jump into the warm jaccuzzi and watch the northern lights. What's not to like? Friendly and helpful staff! Recommended!

The loveliest place to spend several days. We just LOVED it and would be happy to go back again. Great new houses, staning views, polite hosts. If you do not check the location in advance, please be aware - it is on the small isolated island with 60 people living only, and a one small shop. You have to take a ferry to get there. But the trip is rather pleasant. Better to travel with car imho and make all necessary shoppings in advance. Outdoor Jacuzzi makes it just the perfect place. Very romantic.

Wonderful and lovlely place to relax. The island offers a little hiking area and the northern lights can be easely observed. The hosts try to make you feel comfortable.

Went to Vengsøy Rorbuer with my friends for the weekend. During the evening we went by boat to a beautiful place called Rekvika, it was absolutely stunning and we got to dive from the boat! When we got back, the hot jacuzzi waited for us. Thank you for a lovely stay in the amazing sea cabins!

We were shocked to be informed the day before our arrival in Tromso that we had to take a ferry with a twice-a-day schedule to some remote island in the middle of nowhere after driving an hour from Tromso. It wasn't until we input the address into our rental car's GPS that we were shocked that a ferry trip was required in order to reach this so-called (1 1/2 hour away from Tromso) location, which would be 6 hours including the ferry waiting time! We travelled for 24-hours over multiple flights to reach Tromso only to be told we missed a ferry at 6pm and the next and last one was at 9.45pm. The next day we would have no time to catch a flight out. When we spoke to the host on the phone, she had the audacity to tell us that normally people would stay multiple nights and not in winter-time, yet she could still sell people her rental apartment on an island that is close to inaccessible. After arguing for 20-minutes on the phone, she said she would refund us half of our money as we had no other choice but to book another hotel for the night. She did not refund us our money and charged us a full night for not staying at the apartment. Beware of such liars and scammers and stay away from this unholy property run by a dishonest and unscrupulous homeowner that would distort facts and lie in order to get vacationers to book a stay. What an expensive and bitter lesson.
