Venice is known for substandard food (by comparison to other Italian tourist destinations), but this beautiful restaurant proves this hypothesis wrong. A bit hard to find, the restaurant is tucked away in one of the hottest tourist areas in Venice. This is a more expensive but great price/value restaurant, featuring linen table cloths and a nice an quiet outdoor dining area. The food is absolutely fantastic. We had sea bass carpaccio, clam spaghetti, and shrimp/crayfish pasta and it was great! The servings are traditionally small since you to through all four courses, but the preparation is fantastic. The owner couple are very nice and friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this restaurant is you want to pay a little bit more than average for a fantastic dining experience.

Restaurant location and atmosphere is good and owners seemed nice, however the service of the waiter was bad and the food very expensive for the average-poor quality they offer. The risotto was a joke...

Super lovely. Should be much busier than it is and the waiter was exceptional in directing us to the best dishes

Fantastic, delicious dinner! Expect nice atmosphere, small menu (indication of a good restaurant), and about 1.5 - 3 hours for dinner if having multiple courses (slow dining is typical for Italy). Opens at 7:00 PM, but most diners arrive between 7:30 and 8:15. From the courtyard, you can see the kitchen, and it looks like a family-run restaurant! We paid around 100 euros for bottle of wine, one appetizer, 2 dishes, and one dessert. Locals eat here and also English-speakers. If you want an authentic, Italian experience, go here!
