Our flying was marred by the check luggage system failing, leading to hour lines to check our bags. Once passed check-in, security was very quick. Dining and shopping options behind security are somewhat limited. One unique feature of this airport is the water bus access.

Well organized once you get to the terminal buildings. Walkways can be improved. Also local authorities do not allow express walk off in case you're in a hurry for your flight.
If you are a cruise passenger coming from a random city, you better grab some informations on how to get from the city to the terminal, best option is taking a boat transportation like Alliguna, it costs 8 euros from city center and 20 from the airport. If you come walking it will be a little bit hard, specially if you have luggage.
Nice port. Got a water taxi from the ship to St Mark Square.
We are from Belgium and took the bus of Lauwers Travel to the port of Venice. There we went on board of the MSC Opera to travel to Kotor, Mykonos, Santorini, Corfu and Bari. Venice is a beautiful place with a nice port. We are definitely coming back for another cruise with MSC.
