Pricey place, small Volume for risotto. Tasted good though the fish risotto. Red prawn carpaccio was good but expensive 19 euro. Mussle vongole was soso. Selling point was that this restaurant was established since 1500s. Wifey liked the fish risotto and red prawn carpaccio.

Lovely meal, very good service. We had a nicely cooked grilled sole and a delicious pork dish. Extensive wine list. It is more expensive than some other restaurants but to me worth it. Try to enter over the bridge by the fish market - we followed Google maps and ended up entering by the kitchen \u200d️

Love this restaurant! They have a tasting menu at lunch that looked amazing. We got the seafood lunch for 2, it was great!

We had a late flight and were able to dine here before they closed. Super accommodating and great service. The oysters were the freshest we have ever had and the seafood pasta was incredible. Highly recommend for a romantic evening. Can wear casual or dress attire, we were in sweaters and jeans. The fireplace was very lovely. The only drawback is they gave us a glass of champagne each upon arrival and said it was \on the house\ and then charged us for it.

Our second visit to Poste Vecie. First time was a decade ago. This is a charming old restaurant - reputedly the oldest in Venice - with a pleasant garden. The food was well prepared and the service was very good. My only complaint was that there were no fans or anything to counter the sweltering August heat even in the evening. A few fans in the garden would have made a big difference.
