It was nothing special and there was no particular charm about the service. It seemed expensive at first but then when we got the portions they were huge, much larger than what we've normally had around Italy. It was too much to finish. I wouldn't recommend the mixed fried fish because it basically tasted like small pieces of seafood that had been fried to cover up for the lack of quality pieces you would expect. The best bit was the steak tartare which we added lots of salt and pepper to. Also the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and rustic. The litre of wine was good, can't complain about that.

Stopped for lunch. Food was very good, but the service was not great. Starter: clams and muscles - cooked in a wonderful garlic sauce Pasta: homemade pasta with baby squid - tomato sauce with parsley, was also very delicious Main: grilled octopus - was good, a little lacking in flavour. The moment we sat down the waitress showed up and asked us what we wanted to drink, we said we needed a minute and she took away all the glasses. Then afterwards when we ordered water and wine she made a comment about it. So at the end of the meal we went elsewhere for our coffee.

Lovely local food. Baccalà mantecato and Lasagna di pesce. Two absolute must try. The service was great too. Of course they are busy but if you are kind, the staff is also kind to you. Not sure what some of the reviewers here expect from a taverna style restaurant. If you look for Micheline service, pick a Micheline star restaurant!

Local secret in Venice. Walked in with ten American tourists and saw a dozen gondola drivers in striped shirts staring back at us. Amazing fresh seafood enjoyed mostly by locals which should be a good indication of how good it is.

Great tiramisu and delicious lasagna (the best I've ever tried!). Cosy place, pleasant service. A bit hard to find in a labyrinth of Venetian alleys, but it's worth wandering. Highly recommend! NB: lasagna wasn't in the menu, many thanks to Lola who served us for proposing this dish.
