Having paid the extra cleaning fee we didn't expect to be contacted to pay another extra 25 euros for leaving only a couple of dirty dishes. The guy at the check-in told about his journey in New Zealand and didn't tell us about to leave the dishes cleaned. Then, 35 euros extra for a small bag of wood to make a fire was really a robbery. The room was full of cobwebs ... Next time we will go elsewhere.

Love this little place, the staff are friendly, the food is good. We had Bitterballen and fries and a latte, the family had soup and toasted cheese sandwiches. The sometimes have an open fire outside and some seats have heated cushions. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There is a great little camp site next door with fixed wood and fabric tents. The woods surrounding the cafe is filled with walks and cycle routes as well as many streams to skim stones. Most definitely worth a visit
It is in the name... Woodz... Didn't eat here, except some dessert and coffee which was delicious. Also the staff is very friendly. So definitely worth a visit, especially considering the location, as it is in the middle of nature.
Such a great ambiance in the middle of the forest, with a fireplace inside and one outside. Nice coffee, drinks and food too. Would suggest a few more healthy dishes for kids (non-fried), but furthermore, our daughter loved the place!
This must be Veluwe’s best kept secret. What a nice little retreat. Feels like you’re in the deep forest, in the middle of nowhere, yet you are only a 5 minute drive away from civilization. Food and drinks are affordable too. Service comes with a smile. Woodz is def a go-to spot for me.
