Scenic small fortress with a grassy path around the fortress wall. Some small rooms with exhibits. Friendly staff and good info provided.

Well maintained fortress. Very small collection of "things" from fortress history. Interesting piece of wood from the oldest fortress (which stood here) with "signatures" of the kings of Norway.

A well preserved fort with a great view!

Small fort surrounded with grassy banks, unfortunately very short on time for our visit so did not go in. If you walk down past the fort towards the waterfront you will come across a truly amazing sculpture called Steilneset memorial or the The Witches Memorial it is an amazing structure with a gruesome story of a period of dark history. It's worth the walk and the risk of missing your boat.

Interesting fortress ... I did not have enough time to really experience it.

On arrival, this looks like a few houses round a square with some cannons. Would have liked information on history but this was not available on our tour.
