Went mushroom picking, lovely forest with that beautiful pine smell. Hills are steep so appropriate footwear essential. The lake was a lovely aquamarine colour and you can walk across on a wooden walkway. Great ski area... lovely scenery. Some nice mountain restaurants. This park is absolutely stunning! We did a motorbike trip, going through it several times to enjoy the scenery. Well worth it. Great snow conditions and well looked after. the greatest ski areas.

Great mountains for hiking and climbing, with wildlife and wild flowers, steep rock faces and glaciers, that can be surrounded in a 5-day trip linked by a god network of huts and a few coles around 2600 m in altitude.
What a fantastic location for mountain biking, stunning scenery, great trails and worth a visit to Le bistro savoyard located at the bottom of the Vallandry lift, ask for a Grande Grimbergen rouge.... a tasty and refreshing beer to finish off the day..
This place is great especially in Winter. We went for snowboarding. I definitely can recommend it.

Beautiful place in the mountain with a lot of very cute villages and ski resorts. You can find there amazing traditional (for this region) food and alcohol.
Amazing place: lots of snow, great pistes for snowboards. Off-pist riding is also great (comparing with dolomites in Italy, Bansko in Bulgary and Andorra). Food is good in restaurants on the slopes, but the prices are high (the higher in the mountains the higher prices you have in caffes). Gondolas are closed at 17:30 and start at 8:00.
Amazing place. It is a MUST if you visit France.
