Visited here because of the comments about the fresh fish and it did not disappoint. I had cod which was the freshest I’ve had in a while. Remember this is a takeaway with tables not a 5 star restaurant. All the staff were lovely and you can even get a glass of wine or a beer!

Large fish chips and mushy peas, mug of tea for just over a tenner. Singularly delicious! The cheeseburger and scampi were also good, a lovely family lunch. The cafe, loos and covid malarkey were all nicely taken care of. Many thanks
Highly recommend. My hubby and I took our two young children today to Vanlooys for lunch before a Sealife trip and we were so impressed. Staff were friendly, helpful and simply wonderful, the food was quick to arrive and all delicious; the fish especially was so fresh and tasty. Wonderful place, so glad I read previous reviews and we went there! Thank you to all Vanlooys fabulous staff :-)
Really good meal - cod and chips and mushy peas. Fish was delicious with really tasty batter cooked to perfection. Excellent chips - very tasty potatoes. Great peas. Lovely service and good place to sit after our cycle ride. Highly recommended.
I took my father for a nice skate and chip. He's been looking forward to this and he's not been disappointed! Beautifully cooked. A large middle skate was ordered but dad got an extra large! It was bigger than him! Great place offering personal touch beyond these fat cat, measuring food chains! Clean surroundings. Friendly staff. Dad (91) said its the best Skate I've had in a long time! His word's afterwards were Wow! So i wanted to say Thank you!.
