I find the service is boring as hell but the building itself is beautiful. Definitely a place a couple would consider as an ideal church-wedding venue to tie the knot! People are kind and courteous too and very open to all walks of life.

Wow the VSO did a wonderful performance. Worth it for everyone. What a beautiful Church.

The most lovely of old Churches in the lower Mainland. All the Ministers there deliver a message of spirituality, self love and peace within. If I lived in Vancouver, I would attend regularly. It's also a terrific venue for us musicians as our jazz is very much appreciated at their Sunday Vespers, as I am privileged to play with a number of groups who perform at this service.

A beautiful space. An affirming, welcoming community of believers. Incredible acoustics for whatever performance may be presented there. Of course, all of this when they aren't wrapped in plastic and have a roof over their heads! In the mean time, check out the various venues the congregation is meeting at until that date ... Because although the building is getting some \lifting\ done, the church's spirits are being lifted elsewhere in anticipation for their return!!

I've never been to this Church, but I have read the reviews, seen the .photos and read about the people who run it and support it. I also read about the tragedy of the young girl being killed by a Syrian refugee that was sponsored by St. Andrew's Wesley United Church. I wish to take this opportunity to add my condolences and prayers to all who have been affected by this loss of life, including not just the family and friends of the victim, but also to those who are a part of the Church community. I can only imagine what a terrible shock this must have been and only hope that none of you are taking any of the negative comments I've seen here as well as in the press, as indicative of any wrongdoing or fault on your part. There is much anger in the world today and much of it is misdirected towards those whose only intention was to give a helping hand to those in need. One cannot always predict who may turn out to do wrong, despite one's best efforts. Even trained professionals have been wrong when assessing the probability of whether a criminal will re-offend. So I wish to say God Bless You All and all the best to you in your pilgrimage to the various places of worship over the next year or so. While St. Andrew's Wesley United Church is given it's new lease on life, what with all the renovations and such, I pray that the grace of God reinstill the Strength and Love in you that you all so rightfully deserve.
