First night in Valencia found this place just off the main road. Lovely cocktails and food. Loved the tapas and my partner love the spaghetti bolognese. Prices not bad for town center. Friendly staff who English was limited but my Spanish is none so all good.

Incredibly bad. We went for desserts: the waffle was terrible and sticky, with a ridiculous amount of chocolate on it. Cheesecake was even worse: still very warm from the microwave I guess, after they took it out of the freezer. All this for a very expensive price, we did not eat half of what we had. To avoid!! It's written Cafe Uaran on the building so you cannot find the restaurant on internet to check the reviews at first... ridiculous.
Absolutely shocking! The place was empty but basic food took 45 minutes to arrive. Pizza wasnt cooked properly, raw dough. They refused to take this off the bill stating we should have sent it back immediately after receiving it (at no point did anyone come over and ask how the food was!) I did feel sorry for the waiter as complaints like ours were obviously commonplace, he seemed as exasperated as we were.
It was really cold inside and the place didn't seem heated (it was under 10C outside that evening). It seems that sitting outside would be more comfortable with the patio heaters. The salad wasn't fresh at all (and turning brown). The Paella Valenciana had exactly two pieces of chicken, which of one was pretty much all bone. The men's toilet was out of order (used for storage) and the women's toilet was pretty much broken.
Wine was warm, waiter was too busy to get other customers, food was so so.
Total rip off! It's not reassuring when everyone around you complains when they get the bill... size of paella for 2 was tiny, more like a one person portion for 36. We had to wait ages to get it and it was burnt to the pan too. Felt sorry for the waiter though, he was really nice and he had no control over the issues.
NO-GO! Do not visit this place. The food was straight out the microwave and therefore the price was completly unreasonable. After the disgusting meal it took them an eternity to bring us our bill. 10/10 would not recommend!
