I have to admit that firstly I hesitated to go as it is about a replica of the real Chauvet cave. After reading all the good comments we did go and do not regret this! It is really great. We did go with 3 kids 12, 14 and 16 and there is an app that you can download upon the entrance and which will guide you through the cave with good intervals in different languages. Even in Dutch which was perfect for us and the kids. Please don't go with very young kids as it is only disturbing for others. Once you are in the cave it is like you are in the real one.

Really very interesting to go to. it looks so really nicely done. I really recommend it. just go you won't regret it. There is a large cafeteria and gift shop. you are left in groups of 12. yes it is a replica cave but a very good one !!!

The entire cave is recreated so impeccably it’s impossible to tell it’s not the real thing. The audio guide is captivating and educational- I only wish I could listen to it again!

Very well organized. Download the app and follow your virtual guide around the site. It is available in several languages. The cave replica is beautiful. I was sucked into the narrative; ghosts of humans and animals past came alive as their stories were told. The whole tour took an hour, it passes very quickly. We were surprised that we had spent that much time there. The place is Covid19 prepared and there are staff to guide and help you with whatever you need. The one assisting our group spoke perfect English so we had all the information we needed. You will need a mask to access the actual site, in case you do not have one, there are some on sale at the ticket office. Get a memento at the gift shop at the exit, there is so much to choose from.

The place is impressive. The reproduction of the paintings and cave are breathtaking. Easy to park. Nice downloadable guide (although at times difficult to spot the exact mentioned figure)

A great reproduction of a site too sensitive for tourist traffic. Shame that despite the reminders on social distancing and safety there’s no attempt to properly police the COV-idiots. A bit more control and it would be 5 stars.

Beautiful replica. Very well done. I decided to visit this place because of a Humanity class I took last year and this cavern was part of our studies. My husband and teen daughter came were delighted and shocked about the discoveries. The sourandings of the cavern also are beautify designed. I highly recommend to visit it. Photos are not allowed.
