Two years ago. I had to make the worst awful decision to have my beautiful cat Purl euthanized. She was a grey exotic short hair rescued from Bridgend cars rescue. We had her for 4 beautiful years and she have us more love than we can ever measure. She was diagnosed with Polysystic Kidney Disease in 2018 and died 9 months later. I cannot express how the entire team supported us during the last months of her life. They were simply ... the best. Dave the vet would ring me up at home to give me a rundown as to the decline of the health of my beauty. Thus helping and reassuring me as to what was to come. When the time came we spent over an hour in the examination room trying to make that final decision. Purl was put to sleep with dignity and we wept so much for days.. I did express my sincere thanks to Valley Vets but would like to tell others of the wonderful service they all give as a team Thank you SUE FISHER

After my pooch spud passed away, valley vets were very kind and thoughtful and very caring, I was very happy with everything they done for spud, he had a cremation and it was worry free and comforting how they took care of everything for me. I'm so happy and recommend valley vets as they were amazing, thank you so much ️️️
We had a really bad experience on the two occasions we took our English Bulldog to them. They have a page dedicated on their website to not purchasing or breeding Brachycephalic dogs, which I did not realise prior to joining with them. We were called 'irresponsible dog owners' for buying a Bulldog puppy, despite the amount of research we did prior. Whilst I understand and respect their viewpoint on Brachycephalic dogs, we felt as though we were treated dismissively and horribly judged due to our choice of pet. If you have a Brachycephalic breed dog, I would recommend going elsewhere. The care for our dog was also dismissive and they did not seem to want to know and continually lectured us on possible health problems that she may develop in the future. We did not appreciate the lecture as we are extremely knowledgeable about the breed - but this was not discussed with them as the vet nurse did not seem to care about our experiences or our knowledge. We have joined a specialist Bulldog vet now who can provide our dog with the care and support she needs in a non-judgemental environment.
Absolutely amazing the emergency 24hr vet service saved my now 7 month old doberman puppy. Staff were so supportive and explained to me every step of the way what was going on. If distance wasn't an issue I would have considered making these my main vets. Thank you guys. Miss Davies and Yogi ️
