So I accidentally locked myself out of my account. I cant check my council tax. I need to speak to someone as I have had to work from home and my partners hours have also been restricted. I sent an email to ask them to unlock my account but they replied it would take 15 days for a reply. Interesting how when i need to talk to someone no reply but I miss a payment instant reply.

Can't get through to anyone about my query on phone for 15 minutes pressing numbers trying to find the right department gave up wrote this I am now going to write an old fashioned letter it will probably be quicker! Very disappointed!
Absolute ineptitude in the business rates department. They've all been 'working from home' since the covid lockdown started in March, meaning sitting in their back gardens. This has led to the phone lines being closed and replies to emails taking 2 months. The quality of the replies to emails is shocking. These people can barely put a sentence together. Impossible to deal with.
I can't even search the website for planning application anymore. The website does not appear to be working even when I click on the application number.
Breathtaking incompetence in all departments.
Review of VOWHDC Building Control: we lost the Completion Certificate for some building work we did. We emailed Building Control, and received a replacement within 24hrs (we had to pay for this, but it was worth every penny for the excellent service).
