Security personnel at the entrance really make you feel as if they are doing you a huge favour for letting you in. They don't give any directions to where you are going or bother explaining the sign in process or why they want some of your additional personal details. We did not receive the SMS with a code to exit the gate and security just stood around not knowing what to do and after arguing for 10 minutes to let us out they finally bothered to get up out of their chair and open the boom. Definitely not a great visitor experience.

Val de Vie Estate is amazing, so beautiful, safe and peaceful, i have fallen in love with the Estate and Paarl, and now i beleive the Estate has been rated 2nd best Estate in the World !! I had 10 awesome days on the Estate and would love to return for good !!!
Certainly the top lifestyle estate in the country...gyms, golf courses, restaurants, tennis courts, cycling routes, doggy play areas, business park... It has it all... No need to leave the estate for anything except shopping and work...highly recommended for safe living and healthy lifestyle, even has a polo field for horses etc...
High Price bit also high golf! Great golf course! Difficult!! Course in good condition. Greens could be better for the price.
Would be 5 stars if there was a decent internet supplier on the estate
Nice place but a distinct shortage of readable signposts for visitors - especially to get out!
Love the peace and quietness.Alot of construction happening,but definitely a great choice for those who wish to start off their new joueney
