It was an unplanned visit in a cold weather but overall it was a satisfactory experience. We did walk for 20-30 minutes on the well paved path way next to the river. The visitor center remained closed during our visit. Parking area was small and during the afternoon it was not crowded. I didn’t have much idea on the nature trail so didn’t explore much. This is something I would love to when visiting next time in spring.

Fantastic area for mountain biking, hiking and kayaking. There is even a tiny museum with local history -

Beautiful scenery and site. Great place for a quick walk or power walk.

This place is awsome such a wonderfull nature retreat. The walk is perfecf for kids and adults. Its a straight shot down with no turns or hills. There are some trails off the main path that go into the woods. Im not sure of the hiking distance but its about 2-3 miles total round trip. Great fishing too.

A beautiful place, for sure. Unfortunately, the wide open spaces may only be used for walking or sitting. Any children that appear to be having fun will be immediately shut down by the litle old man who works there. I'm not sure what tragedy befell him in life but apparently happy children running and playing makes him angry. Enjoy the area, but maintain a stoic frown at all times.
