The best place to watch the Northern lights in Finland. It offers beautiful cottages with sauna located on top of the river bed overseeing Norway. There is also a restaurant which serves delicious Saami food. I really enjoyed the various activities offered such as snow shoeing to the top of the hill followed by sausage grilling in the hut, the Reindeer feeding and snowmobile adventures. Tina & Mika the hosts are very friendly and always helpful who ensured that we have the best stay ever.

Aurora Holidays is amazing! I went in January 2020 and would love to go back. The owners, guides, chef, cabins, excursions and landscape were all top notch. Unforgettable. The cabins are in far northern Finland and really let you experience the pristine arctic. It was a winter wonderland. Tiina, Maria, Emilia and Mikka did everything possible to make our stay wonderful and became like friends. We loved the reindeer feeding, dogsledding, snowshoeing, museum & village tours, Arctic Ocean visit, local food, and everything else. The northern lights were stunning and we were lucky enough to see them dance one night! The cabins were fully equipped and each even had a sauna. It felt amazing in the -30C temps. There were so many thoughtful touches they cannot be mentioned but included things like blankets in each of the car’s seats to keep us cozy and expert help with photographing the northern lights. I cannot recommend Aurora Holidays highly enough . This is a family owned business with genuine hospitality not just a pandering to please guests. Book now because you will not regret it! Candice

We spent around 2 weeks in Utsjoki and probably ate at least 10 times at Aurora restaurant! Food was delicious and service was beyond awesome. I highly recommend Aurora restaurant to everyone who has a chance to visit Utsjoki 5/5
