This place is awesome! When we were visiting this bar, there was a theatrical show... they said it’s a punk rock theatrical but it wasn’t that loud. Food were beer yumm. Nothing to complain. The location is quite unique but probably it’s normal. We have to go down through stairs so it was in basement.

What a brilliant experience! Came to 't Oude Pothuys on a Wednesday evening, and was serendipitously treated to an Open Mic Night of Jazz! Outstanding vibe, good food and a decent drink menu make this establishment a WINNER in my book.
Shut the fridge... one of the worst experiences in Utrecht in last decade! We love(d) this place, great food and great music. But, yesterday few things went wrong. All those things surely happened at our table, must be. Orders vanished, drinks never arrived, food was not what we hoped for and almost 2 hours too late. How is this even possible... What happened to this place? Still..... we will this place in the future a new chance.
Great food, amazing view, beers are good and not expensive. Lovely overall. And live music
