Great coffee, comes in small / medium / large. Large is definitely large, but it doesn't lack flavour! Delicious Dutch apple pie!
Had a coffee and a typical Ditch toasty. Food was ok. The service was really nice and courteous but very slow. It’s big with indoors and outdoor seating. I liked the design of the place.
Horrible experience. Twice. My sister and I went there 2 times, a few days apart. They refused to serve us saying the kitchen was closed (official closing time of the café: 17:00). The first time it was 16:40, the second only 16:20... at this time you could only get a regular coffee or a tea. Not even a simple hot chocolate and of course not any of the fancy things that are on the menu. I said that it was already the 2nd time and that they should change the opening times. The lady there answered me that there is nothing to be done about it and that they are losing money if they continue serving at that time (it was still 16:20). Well, they do lose money and customers by refusing to serve them when they are supposed to be opened, that's for sure. If it's bankruptcy that the café chose, they are on the right path! Last words: not sweet at all, just bitter.
With a friend I sat down for a drink and something sweet last Saturday. We ordered our drinks at the counter. The place was almost full, but there was still some place left for us. We had midnight chai, new york cheesecake and apple pie. We loved it all. I took home macarons and they were delicious too.
