All the food I've had there was horrible. Although the location is great and the place itself is quite nice it looks quite dated and would deserve a renovation. I had a three-course dinner, starters were almost decent, but in any case not great or memorable. There were two mains in half portions but neither wasn't really good either, one of them was beef bavette, which was I suppose decent. But the other one was actually disgusting and made me pretty much lose my appetite. It was supposed to be tender chicken cooked in orange juice but it was far beyond done, I don't think I've ever eaten more cooked chicken and the sauce was way too salty. Really bad. The dessert was ok, but I could buy one like that in any supermarket. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone for eating. The drinks were quite cheap so going for one there might be fine.

Pretty good restaurant with a nice menu card, the bread is wonderful!
A nice and traditional place with hearty Dutch food. Service is good and it isn't expensive. Not too fancy and a space to relax by the canal when shopping. Good views from either side. You could safely take your mum here without her feeling intimidated by the nenu.

Good food at reasonable prices. Nice idea with courses at half size for half price.
Fantastic goat cheese salad and club sandwich, lovely old interior, and lovely street outside to watch.
Cool dinner concept. Where one can chose two options every course. We had great value for money as we paid 17,50 for three courses.
Nice bar/restaurant overlooking the canal. An interesting menu and when the food arrived it was excellent. My wife and I both cleared out plates. Good drinks menu and everything reasonably priced
